Several T-1 athletes represented the United States and US Best Taekwondo Center at the recent Spanish Open in Alicante, Spain on March 24-26, 2017 — winning three gold medals. Ara White won senior GOLD in the featherweight women’s division (-57 kg), while Aiko Coloso and Anastasija Zolotic each won GOLD in their respective junior divisions (-46 kg and -42 kg).
Other T-1 competitors included Belle Hrunka, Shelby Bourgeois, and Eliseo Hombrar. They all demonstrated strong fighting spirit. All fighters enjoyed their European adventure and the learning opportunity.
