For the third year in a row, T-1 competition team members crossed the ocean this holiday season between Christmas and New Year to train alongside more than a dozen other countries at Hankuk International School in Madrid, Spain. T-1 participated as "Team USA," representing the United States well with a cadre of national and international medalists.
International coach Jesus Ramal and two-time Olympian from Finland Suvi Mikkonen organized the camp, among others. The training camp included sessions for children, cadet, junior, and senior competitors, as well as seminars for coaches. Participants enjoyed an insurmountable experience, sharing the common language of Tae Kwon Do with practitioners from around the world.
